Patiala

Patiala is a city of tradition and culture placed in Punjab. Patiala is rich in trendy wears like turban, Patiala (bottom wear for females), jutti, paranda. Patiala is prominent place for handicraft items also. Patiala has a lot to offer to the tourists.

The existence of eye-catching gardens Rajinder Kothi, Lakshman Jhoola and Bir Moti Bagh famed the city as the City of gardens. Last but not least peoples also gain interest in visiting Gurudwara Dukhniwaran Sahib; believed as soreness reliever God and Kali temple; rated as a National monument because of its wonderful interior design. The tone of Mughal and Rajasthani style is skillfully displayed  in Qila Mubarak Complex;  palace comprises of 2 divisions were inner part consist of Darabaar hall and Ran Baas whereas the outer part has Darshani gate, Mahadev temple and an open street market. Qila Androon the residential area of the rulers also withdraws interest of tourists. Large collection of medals, portraits and other sports equipments is displayed in Moti Bagh Palace which is rated as National Institute of Sports & art gallery. Another point of sightseeing is the Sheesh Mahal Palace made up of mirrors, small glasses and painted wall with flower-patterned motifs.
